Ponds are very fascinating to the young and the elderly. They love to feed the fish and sit by the water because it is very relaxing to them. Some people will put spotlights so that they are shining under the water. These can be white or they may be colored lights.

These make it easier to see the fish and other things that are living in there. Children are very interesting in knowing what is down below the surface. It is a way to show them that there are no monsters in there.

There are some that are floating that shine downward allowing a person to see below them. These are decorative, such as floating water lilies or lily pads. They can add beauty to the pond also. Many of these run on solar power so there is no cost to having them there other than the initial purchase.

These will also allow a person to see the fish at night time when it is dark. It can make a romantic atmosphere or it can just create a beautiful view. It is nice for one person or several people. You can change them periodically for a change if you wish also.
